Marathon? Are You Kidding?
Have you ever run a mile? Does the thought of running 10 miles make you cringe? Even if you’ve never run before, YOU CAN RUN A MARATHON! Medical Ministries International and the M*A*S*H Marathon Trainers are offering runners and walkers the opportunity to take on the challenge of a full or half marathon. All abilities welcome from beginner to expert! The MASH Team will train for the 2 Cities Marathon or 1/2 Marathon held in Fresno on NOVEMBER 9, 2008.
Registration Fee of $260 includes:
• Individual Training Program, 3-5 days a week
• Coaching by MASH Team Trainers
• MASH Marathon Team Shirt
• Entrance to 2 Cities Marathon or 1/2 Marathon
The MASH Marathon Trainers are donating their time and proceeds will benefit Medical Ministries International. MMI is a local non-profit that gathers surplus medical supplies from area hospitals and physicians to send to third world clinics. MMI has provided assistance to Mexico, Armenia, Columbia, Laos, Fiji, South Africa, Indonesia, Honduras, Ethiopia and the Philippines.
